Come hear Israeli Geography Professor Yiftachel discuss the interaction between spatial structures and sociopolitical processes as it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Professor Yiftachel will analyze Israel's public policy and its impacts on ethnic relations as a possible explanation for the outbreak of the second Palestinian Intifada.

Introduction and discussion led by Professor Joseph Massad, Department of Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures.
