Al-Awda Education Committee Meeting
Date: January 29th
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: Columbia University (TBA)
On January 29th at 7:00 PM, we will be holding an Education Committee meeting will be held, hopefully at Columbia University. The meeting WILL NOT discuss any long term goals of the education committee, like curriculum writing etc.
Our short-term goal is to use the final two months leading up to the April 7th rally to build support and solidarity campaigns on campuses, churches, in the Green Party etc., through teach-ins and discussions, as well as publicity for the April 7th Rally. Thus, fulfilling some of the roles of both the education and outreach committee.
Members of various colleges and universities in the tri-state area have been invited to attend the meeting and become part of our plan of action. The Palestine Conference will also be discussed at this meeting. If you know any students in the area who would be interested in helping to build support on their campus, please invite them.
